So Richo asked "Who'd like a game next week in the seniors?" and it looks like they all put up their hands!

According to some around here, the Pelican. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Or is there? I just accidentally turned that into a case of bestiality.Con Gorozidis wrote:Who does Tezza have to root to get a game around here?tony74 wrote:I thought Siposs played a blinder.

Re: VFL Rd 5 Sandringham Vs Essendon
from true zebras twitter
Ross 32 dispsoals, 5 tackles, 2 marks.
Milera 24 disposals, 6 tackles, 2 marks.
Siposs 20 dispsoals, 4 tackles, 8 marks.
Shenton 20 disposals, 6 marks.
Murdoch 15 dispsoals, 5 tackles, 2 marks
having not seen the game but the stats would suggest milera and siposs are a good chance next week.

Ross has earned a chance on that game
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Plenty of it - but wasn't damaging.magnifisaint wrote:Ross has earned a chance on that game
The guy that did put his hand up was Siposs.
He HAS to come back in to the seniors.

Re: VFL Rd 5 Sandringham Vs Essendon
What was with the timekeeper???????
According to the (admittedly dodgy) scoreboard clock that last quarter went about 37 minutes.
Just went on and on and on despite only one blood rule.
Not sure how long the other quarters went as there wasn't "quite the same level of interest", but would be surprised if they went much past 30.
Made for a very nervous last 5 mins !!!!!

Yeah - he was good.spert wrote:Play The Dunny!
Impressed how he runs to smart locations to give options.
A hard worker, clean skills and good disposal - three things we lacked yesterday!
Took a vital mark to kick the goal that hauled us back within a goal in time on.

I think he has only had one poor game this year?
I think hes been in the best 4/5 games.

I've been impressed by holmes , that is until he tries to kick the ball .evo wrote:Holmes dominated the last quarter ruck duels over Bellchambers too apparently !

Any feedback on Lee?
Good to see Murdoch did well; reckon we need a Bull in our forward line. His brother was good for Geelong today.

Well Saints fans are not used to the club DEVELOPING players........................so it will take some a while to understand that the strategy is to work on the players and to not just win Sandy matches.
Great to hear that they are really focused in improving our players.
Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....
Re: VFL Rd 5 Sandringham Vs Essendon
Great to see sippos play well. We really need a 3rd forward to help out roo n Stanley . He has that talent to make it, hopefully this tough start to the year has made him realise what it takes to get a game. I hope he gets an opportunity against the blues this Monday
