The effort and the comeback was pleasing...
Speaking of pleasing... anyone know the score from Patterson Stadium

Because 'being one of the best tall fwds in a draft' is galaxies away from being Roo quality.citywest wrote:Why do you doubt it? From all reports he is one of the best tall forwards in this years draft.SaintPav wrote:Highly doubt it.

Why do you think Hugh Goddard will be top 10. Have you seen him play this year!citywest wrote:Don't think so, but definitely top 10.Teflon wrote:So he'd be no 1 pick..
Re: Look on the bright side
I think Hugh is better as a backman tbh.
Considering Stanley is coming on reasonably well, and with Longer and Hickey also part of our future planning. I wonder if we will be as keen on Wright as perhaps we should be, personally, I really hope McCartin comes on and is there when we have our pick.
If we are lucky, Jake Lever will drop down to our next pick due to his injury, but a lot of water under that bridge.

And Riewoldt is probably the best CHF of his generation. Not a draft. Run along, Helen

Re: Look on the bright side
Must admit, after hearing the weather conditions, and Brisbane's ins, my confidence dropped a bit, just had a bad feeling, which went with the bad week I've had.
We didn't turn up until half time, so the good news is that we gave them a big head start and almost got them, though I still believe, we played that game at Etihad and we would have won.
But the club needs money right now because people have decided to punish the club by not buying memberships, even read in letters section of the Hun because of the AFL's pricing policy, he wont buy a St.Kilda membership next year.
Well done moron, you only hurt the club by doing that, not the AFL.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.
