Post: # 1453390Post st_Trav_ofWA »

Members ,
What a great win against Essendon last week.. the commitment and effort shown by the senior players and the younger players in support was outstanding , the future is looking very bright for this group …. This week the Western Saints head back to the Inglewood hotel for the second game telecast function , The ANZAC day game in New Zealand is the marquee game of the season for the Saints not only as the only game played on international soil for premiership points but as an honour to pay tribute to the ANZAC spirit and remembrance of the sacrifices made by the men and women of the armed forces to protect our country … We hope to get a big crowd of Saints supporters out for what promises to be a highly entertaining and hard fought game , we will be holding a raffle at the function where you can win some great Saints prizes.. support your team support your supporter group and head down to the Inglewood this Friday …
Where: The Inglewood Hotel
When: Friday the 25th of April
Time: 3pm pregame entertainment – game start 3:30pm
Contact: 0487272400 or westernsaints@saints.com.au

It's not of FTA in Perth or Melbourne (but it is in Brisbane) so those of us who don't want to fund the MFME, will have to go to the pub to watch it.

Do they have any skimpys serving beer?

In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Gee. On Facebook, Western Saints has this info:
1. flyer says "pregame starts 7:30 pm"
2. main post says "12:30" which I think relates to the Inglewood showing Pies game, with our game following.

Confusing.
Get it right and you might get more folks turning up.

reckon you must be on drugs then ... clearly says 3:30 on the western saints flyer ... there is a graphic on the event on the page that is the clubs graphic saying that pre gam starts at 7pm but it then clearly says in New Zealand .....

for the record we had a very good crowd of people turn up to the function with no one getting confused what time it started... (maybe they all can read properly)... funny thing about game telecasts is we tend to get people to turn up to them when they are proper functions yet funny enough the public dont really take too well to being called lazy slackers for not turning up to watch the game (especially when its not an official function)...

hopefully we get a good turn out this week for our Blur Ribbon cup joint function with the WA Hawks as we again raise some funds for WA Police Legacy ... that said the saturday morning games are always tough to get too for a lot of our members especialy with familys with the kids sports on Saturdays
