It must be hard to find a negative when to see a player showing such signs. He has a Rooey like work rate in finding problems.

Wasn't a question whiskers...
Why not let one of our kids just play... Without calling him the next anything....
Seen it with Siposs, Stanley, White...

Something Siposs, Stanley, or White never ever ever ever did.dragit wrote:C'mon guys, this was pretty prophetic give me some love here...dragit wrote:When he kicks the sealer, the nomination paper will be sealed.
Quite prophetic

I'd say he's not the next anything but the first Billings. In 5 years people will be comparing young draftees to him. Absolute gun

Editing the content of another members posting to create a negativity is disappointing and provocative BM.BigMart wrote:Wasn't a question whiskers...

Whiskers went early with the prediction that Billings would receive the Rising Star nomination on his form against Essendon THIS ROUND.
Not once does his post state that the kid would be the next anything.
Please stick to the topic within the post, especially the positive ones.

Re: Billings rising star nomination?
Loved his first goal.
Loved his second goal.
Loved him setting up schnieds for the goal
Loved him setting up Roo for two goals
Loved him setting Saunders for the point
Won't love him so much if he beats Dunstan for the rising star and takes my $600 off me that money is already put aside for future memberships

Re: Billings rising star nomination?
It is pretty easy to get carried away with young Jack forgetting that he is still a kid and still learning how to play in the big league....But........ what an excitement machine. I have replayed the goal he kicked against the Bombers his first in AFL footy. What a gem. The old one two. Billings palms it off and then has the peripheral vision and speed to make space for himself. Receives the return handball then slots it at full tilt with that raking left foot of his. If he can get that going he is going to punish a lot of sides. It would be my greatest wish to see him kick a bundle against the filth. They so deserve to be punished.

Either Billings or Matt Crouch from Crows will get it. If he misses out then he will get it in next few weeks.Spud02 wrote:2 goals and 19 touches...lock it in
