Reality check
Not phased at all by the result today in terms of where we are as a team.Richo's rebuild is still on track despite the thumping.Adelaide are a good side and had lost to 3 very good teams [Geelong,Port and Sydney] and were never going to go 4 and zip.Lessons learned today will be part of the education going forward.Encouraged by the list of potential in the twos at Sandy[ Lee ,Billings,Weller,Siposse etc] and with Schneider and Fisher back soon and firmly believe that Richardson is the man to lead us out of the wilderness.8 to 10 Wins is still achievable 2014 and would be a great result. Keep the faith guys !

Re: Reality check
8 - 10 wins is a pipe dream...5 maximum. We need to be in the bottom 4 for 3 more years and grab as many "A" graders as we can. We also should trade Joey plus our third pick for a pick in the top 20.

Re: Reality check
I hope it is not more than 5 because there are about 3 or 4 "A" grade Talls/Forwards in this years National Draft and we desperately need to grab one of them. If we do win 8 - 10 games I fear that we will miss out.

some people only come on here to feel better when Essendon lose. It's only a true Saint that can criticise our club. I think we might have realised that Carlton and Essendon are tanking so we need to try to out s*** them by some margin.

Re: Reality check
Best case is 8 wins.
Lets say we win between 5 to 7.
Next couple of seasons may be worse.

Re: Reality check
The reality check from today is around our class. The gruelling Perth trip took away the pressurising intensity that has seen us post impressive results thus far in Richo's honeymoon phase. What we were left with is pretty average ball usage from the likes of Jones, Ray, Geary, Maister, Savage. Pelchens list building model has been around getting high quality ball users in so that the ball does a lot of the work and legs can be saved. With this years batch of recruits we have started on that road of having good kicking players across the field.

I once spent a year in Adelaide, I think it was on a Sunday.

Life without Nick Riewoldt, Lenny Hayes, Leigh Montagna, Sean Dempster...
A scary proposition
