GWS outs are Sheils, Palmer & Davis. Sheils and Palmer played very well against us in Wagga so there outs will really hurt them!

Our average experience goes from 67 games to 90, our average age goes from 24.1 to 25.3. Looks a bit more balanced now - last week we were missing four of our five most experienced players.

This is an opportunity to chalk up another win. Let's hope the boys make the most of the opportunity. Lenny and Joey in, plus Etihad, will add a lot to our chances - here's hoping!

Correct in's and outs, disappointing about Webster being injured though.
Overall happy.

Webster is the surprise packet for me. I thought he was going to be one of those guys that didn't get much game time as he was another mid sized backman. But he has been fantastic and this season seems to have bolted. I still remember an old guy when I was in Tassie chasing me down the street telling me that Jimmy Webster was a gun and was going to be the best player ever out of Tasmania. That was his first year so big prediction, hopefully he's right. i saw a skinny surfer dude that looked like he was a long way off but he's really impressed so far.

Light, largely insignificant niggles and injuries are probably a very good thing for us now. It allows us to rotate all those players we want going through the squad without having to deal with damaged confidences of an undeserved dropping.

Round 2: 'The Dome'

Post: # 1443846Post Megamaguire »

This Round 2 team looks more balanced with the 6 or 7 experienced players lining up from CHF to CHB plus the 4-5 that can play through the centre of the ground.
Glad to see Lenny back and with Montagna on board as well that's a decent dollop of cream that could float to the top as the game unfolds.
It's intriguing to see how Wright; Saunders; Curren; Newness and Temp acquit themselves against some of those high draft picks acquired by the G's.
The older guys will have plenty of Dome ground familiarity and confidence to dig deep and get the chocolates.

G O F O R I T S A I N T S ! :D

The boy can play and we can build a defence around him that will have respect.

I saw training at Moorabbin today

Schneider was there early doing some rehab training, a bit of running and some ball work, looked ok but still has the yellow vest on, also in the yellow i noticed Jack Steven was doing some kicking and looked ok.

When the main group came out Gwilt and Maister did kicking and hand ball drills with Hammer and some other bloke.
the main group went for a jog and some stretching, i left about then, obviously just a light stretch and hitout before tomorrow.
