How long are we going to keep subsidising these teams?

Re: Adam Tralore
Contracts mean nothing. We could always use the trade period for him if he is that good.plugger66 wrote:Con Gorozidis wrote:Thats only 2 seasons away.plugger66 wrote:Adam Treloar is signed by GWS until the end of 2015. Forget it.
I think I know that but it maybe proves he may want to stay there. it also means they have 2 seasons to sign him.

Pick 1 is pick 1 - It would have to be a monster trade.
And probably a gun CHF.
Not sure why.

Contracts mean everything. Bugg was maybe interested in coming home but GWS said they wouldnt trade so it finishes right there. Can you even explain your post. Obviously if we gave GWS pick one they may trade but they have all the power because he has a contract. We cant use the pre season draft even as a threat. And this is a complete rumour. I love how a rumoutr by a person no one knows all of a sudden nearly becomes fact. Im trusting the contract at the moment ahead of the rumour.

Re: Adam Tralore
Good question - they get another year of draft concessions (maybe even 2)SaintPav wrote:How long are we going to keep subsidising these teams?
And financially - probably another decade.
Back in the old days (3 years ago) we could have offered him a massive 4 year contract and front loaded it for 2016-17 and then picked him with say a pick 20 - but i think the afl are tightening up on this (Luke Ball) loophole?
Everyone is saying how GWS cant keep all their players - but they still seem to have so much power in negotiations. They can extract their pound of flesh everytime a kid leaves for home or more money so lets say we offer AT big money and he is keen to come to us in 2016 - we will still have to give something up.

Adam Tralore wants to come home to vic.
This kid is a gun we need to get him.
We would be in a great position to entice home to our saints midfield
If anyone knows anyone of important at seaford can u pass this on

He know's his name just can't spell it no problem there.

Re: Adam Treloar - my rumour
I would think we would look seriously at swapping pick 1 for a good player and a top 10 pick or a combination of picks in the top 20, given that we have stated we want 3 picks again in the top 20 again.

Re: Adam Tralore
What's wrong with that one? Could have been slightly better punctuated: His "wanting to come home" is not a rumour, plugs. But it's basically correct, isn't it?evertonfc wrote:Now they are bleeding.andrewg wrote:His wanting to come home is not a rumour plugs

He and Mav Weller could have continued their 'friendship'. Weller has snotted him twice now apparently.gringo wrote:I was disappointed we didn't trade for Tommy Bugg last season when someone suggested he and coming our way.

Re: Adam Tralore
Mate, rest assured, his management will be contacting Victorian clubs on his behalf. They'll know about it, don't worry.andrewg wrote:Ha yea sorry about the spelling Treloar...spelling not my strength.
I promise it's a fact not friend of friend close relative that I work with.
She just told me he was very keen to get home cos of family and friends.
I was surprised when she told me as I really rate him (have him in Super coach etc) so have watched him closely.
But nearly fell over when she said he wants to come home after I asked her about his big game.
I am happy that you agree with me. Worth a talk to his manager I reckon I have emailed the club a few times but never a response........just never sure if anything gets through
Just thought if someone was in the know worth mentioning it to them....?
