I disagree.

Winning the flag by 2020 is a consequence of the Strategy.

The crux of the Strategy is getting St Kilda to challenge top 4 by 2018 and to stay there. That is the key point of the vision, it's about implementing a club model that is about achieving sustainable success. From marketing, membershipos and sponshorship through to the football department (List management and on field performance) through to financial management.

When we become sustainable in 2018 we will be stoked to be competing again. Whether we win the flag by 2020 at that point wont be what makes us angry with this new direction, as we'll all know that could come down to a ball bounce. If we do miss out on the flag by 2020, then at least we know we'll be having another crack in 2021!
