In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Sounds like Tommy Curren's doing alright again. Think we've found a player there. IMO we need to throw the kitchen sink at a couple of FA midfielders at the end of the year and recruit the best FF in the land.

as important to the score- and keeping in touch
?? no injuries mentioned apart from Schneids knee in back?

Why ? As has been suggested on this forum numerous times, and rightly so, no point paying big brass for any FA for at least 2-3 seasons.samuraisaint wrote:Sounds like Tommy Curren's doing alright again. Re: Match v Port March 8 at Alberton
Sounds like Stanley had another shocker as did Newnes.
Also sounds like with the new breed of tall fwds (195-200cm) we will still be found out down back .
We need to really hope Bruce comes on in the next 2-3 years.
Butcher on top today - but most clubs now have at least one very tall fwd.
Minch - GOAL

16.10 to 18.7 - 9 points down

Re: Match v Port March 8 at Alberton
Port's Butcher over and out for them too.
Maybe not disgraced, but it sounds like we haven't been able to dominate any passages of play since the first quarter - and that is a worry. Although perhaps inevitable under the circumstances.

I assume that is due to the age discrepency between a FA and our up and coming core? Fair enough.Stephen Theodore wrote:Why ? I still don't know who Jimmy Walker our number 29 is and apparently Farren Ray has played at 5 clubs?
When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss
