Freddy Fittler made a 'come-back' of sorts - jocka could do it.plugger66 wrote:borderbarry wrote:I am interested to see how many and which of, our young players make it. We have'nt seen the best of Billings yet I know, and we have seen very little of White, Acres, and Markworth.
Dunstall is to old i reckon but he would be good if he could get back to full fitness.

Spert, I don't think beating Melbourne would prove much, they have been the worst side for about 6 years.spert wrote:I want all you doubters to come on this forum after we clobber Melbourne, and tell me what's wrong with the club

Re: 2014 Preview - The Age
I think that GWS game was a disaster for the Saints fans. It has gone from positive to already racking the cue. The Bulldogs game was pretty good for 3 quarters and despite a loss was still up beat. Losing badly to the last place team has probably cost us about 10,000 members and has lowered expectations. I still think we will probably win about 6 games this year and probably finish around 16th to 18th depending on injury and other teams form and injuries. Bulldogs brisbane and GWS could all go either way.

And Byrnes and Clark. Also Jamar and Jones played in finals in 06. And as you say, you wouldn't ignore Tyson, Toumpas, Viney and Hogan just because they haven't played finals yet.Con Gorozidis wrote:Vince, Dawes and Cross for starters.spert wrote:Pathetic supporters on this forum happy to roll over and play dead. How many of the Melbourne "experienced core" have played in finals.. how many of their experienced players have tasted success over recent years? Get on board you bunch of wimps
How many Saints had played in finals at the start of 04? Five home-grown: Harvey, Jones, Peckett, Thommo and Maxie. Four imports: Powell, Voss, Gehrig and Hamill. Vaguely similar numbers.

We have 25 already, were never going too far past 30...
We'll end up with around 28,000 whatever happens.
I hate when facts get in the way of my rants. Dammit Dragit.
