Couldn't agree more Con. How any serious footy fan would seriously rather go to a game at Etihad than the G is beyond my comprehension. The more games at the G the better as far as I am concernedCon Gorozidis wrote:One of the best stadiums in the world - arguably the best.
Tiger army out in force ( I much prefer tiger crowds than blues crowds)
5 minute walk to train
10 minute walk to dozens of quality pubs
Seriously what is there not to like?
Cracker of a match. Doesnt get any better. The only thing better is a final at the G.
I know humans love their routines - but ya gotta live a little!

Except it's not the last round.joffaboy wrote:And the best thing is Richmond will be like Freo in the last game last season, looking at bigger fish to fry.
We could even get a win to finish off our season

How have the Saints been shafted when they make 5 times the amount of money per game at the G than Etihad?
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Do we make anything of this?magnifisaint wrote:How have the Saints been shafted when they make 5 times the amount of money per game at the G than Etihad?
It's still Richmond's home game, if anything it will cost us for each member that goes.

What compensation do 16 game members get, considering we have already paid for the away match with Richmond?

I agree completely re the G, but I would have preferred to see us play the Hawks there in Round 7, instead of the Tigers yet again!Spinner wrote:Stuff them.
Can't complain about not being financially strong, fixturing and all and decide not to attend one of the best stadiums in the world.
At least the Hawks would have provided us with a better spectacle in early May, with the season well and truly alive, instead of a dead rubber at the end of the season when our youngsters will be well and truly cooked.

Had this problem last year Bazza, and there was no difference... I don't think anything will have changed this year.Bazza1970 wrote:What compensation do 16 game members get, considering we have already paid for the away match with Richmond?
