Re: NAB Challenge team is out
No tall forwards for Bulldogs they must be going to play Crameri at FF, will make for some interesting matchups. They will have a very strong midfileld which will be a big test for our blokes.
Looking forward to game prediction Saints win 9 points....

I think with we put Holmes up against some real opporsition at this stage of his development, they might rip him a new one and possibily halt his development

Old guys not playing:
Lenny Hayes, Nick Riewoldt, Adam Schneider, Sean Dempster, Sam Fisher
Injured guys not playing:
Tom Lee, Daniel Markworth, Sam Gilbert, Brodie Murdoch
Americans not playing:
Jason Holmes
The rest - do these guys have undocumented injuries or are they just not picked?
Spencer White, Terry Milera, Jimmy Gwilt, Cam Shenton, Blake Acres, Lewis Pierce

Re: NAB Challenge team is out
I think Gwilt is being rested with the other "old guys" mentioned.
But I am disappointed Milera has not been selected. I am hoping he might have a big year with Milne and Saad gone.

The injury list was saying "back" but he's off it now so I suppose they're just trying to get some solid training into him.Toy Saint wrote:Whats wrong with Bull Murdoch?

be good to see the future running about
always good when its just a trial too
its never hugely packed, cheap to get in, easy commute traffic wise
be good to see the kids running about
hopefully in a few years i can look back once we have won a flag and say i can remember watching those blokes run around Alberton in a trail and remember how raw they were and see how much they grew in to guns
hopefully
Re: NAB Challenge team is out
Scary to think of a forward line with no Roo and Milne. Who will kick the goals? Maister? Time for Stanley and Sippos to stand up. Hope Tommy Lee comes up ok soon.

Team for the Bulldogs
ST KILDA
1. Tom Hickey, 2. Arryn Siposs, 3. Jack Steven, 4. Clint Jones, 5. Shane Savage, 6. Sebastian Ross, 8. Trent Dennis-Lane, 11. Leigh Montagna, 14. Jarryn Geary, 15. Jack Billings, 16. Jack Newnes, 17. With new additions: Savage, Billings, Longer, Delaney, Bruce, Dunstan,Templeton & Weller
it will be something to see indeed.
One of those days that might hang
around in memory.
Add to this another group of 8 - the slightly older group hoping it will be the start of a whole new level of performance in each of their playing careers...
Ross, Newnes, Curren, Stanley, Simpkin, Wright, Hickey & Siposs.
This older group intrigues me as l think each one is capable of going to the next level and ultimately who knows how far?
I didn'y include Roberton in this 2nd. group bas I think he wont look back.
Anyway have to keep a lid on it !
GO S A I N T S !

Yep fwd line is now the new worry.
We have put some holes in the defence - and loaded up on mids.
Fwds are our next target imo.
