Re the Defensive Coach statement. Very basically said that to move the ball forward requires backhalf pressure and last season we had very little of it and they had been working very hard to improve this situation this year.

Finally a coach who handle the media with aplomb. He is not a smug little "know it all" like Watters portrayed himself or Mr Arrogant Lyons. He comes across very open and honest and appears to have significant credibility in the industry.

Let's hope he is a defensive coach as whether we like it or not the players respond to that style...

I actually never thought Watters sounded smug 'know it all'. iand i thought Watters spoke well. especially after Lyon. Lyon had to learn to communicate especially after his first first year with us.

+1 That comment doesn't sit comfortably with me. Whatever defficiencies Scott had I thought his media performances were exceptionally good.....and humble for the most part.
