Hi Matrix

The structure is simple and logical.

The Animal Enclosure exists to move bickering and squabbling from the other forums (that was hindering real discussion of topics) to a forum where the squabble could continue. This can be achieved by the moderators splitting the topic between the forums and moving the squabbling posts to the Animal Enclosure.

There in the Animal Enclosure the posters can continue to squabble IF THEY SO CHOOSE however the rules are different down there in the AE. Essentially they are free to squabble unless they are cyber bullying or threatening another poster or are racist, homophobic etc. All there in the rules!

As for the site redevelopment:

- my website guy finished his previous project on Friday (my company website)
- we only received access and passwords to Saintsational on Thursday this week

Work commences on Monday.

Essentially Saintsational.com will eventually become a supporters hub.

- some proprietary editorial will appear there (from saints fans in the media)
- some proprietary interviews (with ex players)
- some proprietary competitions will appear there e.g. Trivia Quiz (may need a volunteer quiz master)
- some proprietary fund raising activities for the footy club (even beyond player sponsorship)
- news feeds from across the web will be posted there (may need a volunteer managing editor)
- the last 5 threads from the Saintsational Fan Forum will appear there
- 5 most recent twitter feeds from the club and players will appear there
- 5 latest Facebook feeds will appear there (with links to source content)
- Possibly fan Instagram - working out mechanics of this
- Other activity planned for the long term

Other suggestions are welcome.

Please note that I am donating my web guys services for this and no funds are being asked for his time to create this not are we using the funds raised to pay for the hosting services. If we need to pay for any software then we may come to the forum to ask for funds or permission to use current funds.

I am also hoping that Battye will make the forum tapatalk compliant as well.

Good on the mods for all their hard work. It's something of a thankless job, and without them Saintsational would descend into a jungle...though that may what some folk want?

It is what some folk had turned it into before BFUSA too it upon himself to clean SS upand make it relevant.

And to anyone who thinks I'm sucking up to the mods, I have been warned and accepted it.

One of the banned posters I have had on ignore for about a year and only see the bile and hatred if someone quotes his rubbish.

The two who were banned for a week, I find reasonable, and dont have then on ignore.

IMO this place would be much better if one poster was permanently banned as he has been banned for a month on two previous occasions and is obviously a recidivist troller, baiter and abuser.

A total jerk in my opinion and has no place on this forum.

Will the upgrade include being iphone and android compatible?

Will Saintsational still remain independent of the club or other commercial interests and not have any conflict of interest that will take away it's free speech?

good on Back from the USA (and the whole Moderating team) As the old saying goes "you can't please everyone" The moderators (IMHO) do a difficult job very well, and the simple truth is, that if we maintain some level of reason and decency when posting, the moderators will be conspicuous by their absence. I do NOT want bans to be used on here, but some stuff just goes beyond the pale (IMHO)

So punish them where it hurts them most.
