we had a season where nearly all of our key backs were injured. A fit Fisher, Gwilt, Simpkin and Dempster along with the recruitment of two ready made key defenders should help. That means that Stanley won't play back there.
I am not convinced that 2014 will be the disaster that many are predicting.

some of you who are bagging Leach have little idea.
Leach is a class act and asking about the clubs culture I have no problem with..would be the first question I would ask of an official joining the club.
The interview was a good one.

I shake my head when I see some of the stuff written on here.

Why all the hate for Francis Leach?

I thought he always came across as a fairly affable chap. Have been told by a few people (who are decent judge of character) that he's a good bloke.

At one point, wanted to play at the baseball at the club I'm with, but his schedule wouldn't permit it. A shame.

ahhh sorry Stinger but you seem to have a problem with comprehension , Leach was asking what Richardson thought of our culture. Leach said we had a perception problem last year ,he was correct. and asked how would he go about rectifying it .
Perfectly suitable line of questioning .

Bit too quick to go on the defensive Stinger...which says volumes.

If any of you guys get to meet him you wouldn't be writing some of the garbage on here.

Sounded like a pretty straight forward interview to me. I don't know how you could interview anyone at St Kilda and not mention the war.

I won't hear a bad word said about him. He found me somewhere to sleep in Stuttgart during the World Cup in 2006.

Cheers for the post and your Rooey12 on you tube.
Very impressed with AR.Just reckon already he's a bit step up from SW
He have his moments but I reckon the club is booming at the minute

So you reckon the club is booming Greg?

We just finished 3rd last and it looks like we will probably struggle again.
Our membership is falling.
We're locked into a terrible stadium deal.
On every indicator our finances are heading south.
We probably have organisational and governance issues at management and board level.
We have no CEO.
We just sacked our coach.
We're perceived as a rabble by the general football public and the media.

The club will struggle through etc but we're not in boom times.
Well apart from all that we're booming, Pav! :D

The big positive for our club is that we've probably hit rock bottom, or will in 2014.

So the only way is up, baby. ....
