The young guys in particular would be very excited about travelling to the US especially training in the facility of an American football team - not to mention the intellectual property and year in year out gains you get from having a sister club (or whatever they call it).
I think the town will be pleased there is no Milney running around with a microphone though. That was cringe worthy stuff.
Man , you need some happy pills , is there any chance you could say something nice just for once , or positive , nah it aint going to happen is it !!!!
Don't mix up reality with unhappiness..... Footy is one small thing in our lives... Unhappy about following a poor footy team (not club, before anyone cries) does not make a person unhappy
Well, not 6 days a week, 6 months of he year anyway.
The real benefit is the bonding aspect of the trip
Invaluable at this stage with so many younger players.
Good on them, least it's another avenue to keep up with the comp.
This year especially , might be crucial..

Start the day running at St Kilda beach, then jog to the Junction Oval and do laps, catch the tram to Flinders street station then catch the Frankston line train and get off at Moorabbin. Jog to the Moorabbin ground and do laps, hire a bus and go to the former VFL park Waverley and have a picnic lunch, then bus it to Seaford for some gym work then go to the Seaford hotel for dinner. That should bond the team..what do you think?
Then shoot up Arthur's Seat or Mount Martha for altitude training!

Finish off at Glacier Nightclub in Franga for some real bonding.

Seeing our games are largely played in a temperate climatic zone, I would have though a week of intense training up in the Dandenongs or down on the Mornington Peninsula would do the job just as well- any opinions you sports scientists out there?
Who are we to say or decide?
You'd have to ask some of the longer term players to compare it with previous trips. Judging from last year, it was a success and equitable for the club. Well, you'd hope so anyway.
Perhaps we should take Eddie's advice and not continue going there because (apparently) only Filthwood deserves state of the art training facilities.
