interesting to note that Kevin Billing played in our 1966 premiership side and that Jeff Crouch was the umpire for that game

Re: OK experts. Nearest the pin for the draft.
Emma Q has updated her top 20, Billing, Dunstan and Jones. Does mention, Merrett, Acres and Hartung among others! Said what we've all been saying that its a wait and see as to who is available.
Hilarious thing about her phantom is the smallest and tallest player (or near enough to) are in the mix for pick 14!

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

3, Out of Boyd, Kelly, or Billings, whoever GWS leaves.
18. Dunstan
19. Garlett. (I know Hawthorn are expected take him all the more reason for us to pick him.)

warming on Gardiner but cooling on Jones ??
Twomey's Updated predictions below (9:00pm last night).
Interesting that Tw sees Saints ignoring Z.Jones & Dumont for Hartung @ # 19! I think it was in the updated Clark/Ln with Z. Jones for tigers @ #12 ! (not Lennon). Sounds like some opinions are still very fluid.
12. Richmond - Ben Lennon
13. Carlton - Patrick Cripps
14. GWS - Lewis Taylor
15. Sydney Swans - Tom Cutler
16. Geelong - Blake Acres
17. Fremantle - Cameron McCarthy
18. St Kilda - Luke Dunstan
19. St Kilda - Billy Hartung
20. Gold Coast - Zak Jones
21. Port Adelaide - Trent Dumont

Re: OK experts. Nearest the pin for the draft.
What I think:
3 - Billings
18 - Dumont
19- Z Jones
Although I would be equally happy with Matt Crouch, Blake Acres or Luke Dunstan with either of 18/19 too.

reckon Garlett has shot himself in the foot with regards to getting drafted again ... missed a second meeting with a melbourne clubborderbarry wrote:3, Out of Boyd, Kelly, or Billings, whoever GWS leaves.

18. Taylor
19. Dunstan
Hoping so, anyway. Just so long as we don't try to pull a rabbit out of the hat - the bolters rarely ever come off.
We can pick the best two sliders at 18 and 19 - hopefully they're Taylor and Dunstan. Sheed won't last. Hartung would have been a great late-20s pick.
Billings will be a beauty. Just needs plenty of support with injuries and he'll be a player who we can build a generation around.

Re: OK experts. Nearest the pin for the draft.
St_Trav heard earlier from j.ralph KB show only Hawks still interested in garlett and now unlikely because he missed an interview opportunity with them in WA recently.
evertonfc - interesting to have Taylor in there as available @ 18. he could be a slder as far as #18 and effectively push out Hartung.
the various permutations are massive at the moment.
GO SAINTS!

Garlett looks like a real tool
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.
