4 members of the current board were in office when Nettlefold was allowed a "free reign".
4 members of the current board were in office when Watters was appointed.

Cannot comment about the other points you make as there are no specifics/I'm not privy to the information.

Firstly, it was the previous board, lead by RB that hired Archie and the previous board that couldn't sort out our training base and had us going to Craigiburn...

Would you rather we paid RL millions and let the footy dept dwindle away, with little development of young players and rely on old guys and rejects from other clubs to try to win games?

The rest is pure opinion and speculative crap.

You know nothing of board quality.... pound for pound our board stacks up pretty well. We have one of the country's best CEOs (Ian Mcleold) on our board....its a pity he can't spend more time with the club.

Our admin approach could be better, getting a footy dept up and running was a key first step. I'm sure there are problems or areas that could be improved but you seem to have an inability to understand we are not a power afl club, we have a poor income stream (thanks to previous admin ground deal), therefore, we don't have the funds to build a great platform for success. Money takes away a lot of problems, and can make people seem better than what they would be without the money to do things. We work on a shoe sting budget, but generally, we are on the right track.

Gringo is right....I've been fortunate in my career to work at management level with a number of very large companies around the world that generate 10s of billions $ in annual revenue...and many times I've seen major stuff ups costing $100s of millions. Sometimes through stupidity, poor planning, poor management/control and often external forces outside your control...

So welcome to the real world....A mid-sized footy club (i.e. saints), with limited earning potential is going to face the same, even worse....but we've had a pretty good run over the last 10 years... The current board composition and footy dept know things are tough and sometimes not all decision work out, but strategically I think we are on the right path.... I strong footy department, with a strong leader is key, which we have...

Throwing out BS and attempting to destabilise and focus a club's limited resources away from what's its trying to do over the next few years is pretty stupid & short-sighted.
