Conspiracy theory #5684. Jaxons... set up and busted.
Here's another thought.
Jaxons has been found out by the club to be the leaking source to media.
Jaxons was informed Mark Williams would be given the job to see if this would leak out to the general public.
Jaxons you have now been caught out and owe me $50

My conspiracy is Richardson was their target all along (Finey was on to it) and then the next few weeks someone was falsely leaking that Choco was the target and was then loading up bets on Richardson at long odds.
The Bookies got a whiff theyd been had last week and closed down betting after taking a load of small bets on Williams and a few big bets (insiders) on Richardson ..

Surely they didn't pick Richardson based purely on betting. I can't believe that Con. The theory is that he's the best candidate.
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

No Im saying the opposite.magnifisaint wrote:Surely they didn't pick Richardson based purely on betting. I can't believe that Con. The theory is that he's the best candidate.
They already regarded Richardson as the best candidate. But the 'leaker' leaked a ruse - that Choco was a sure thing and the bookies then had Choco odds on favourite based on a false leak - and Richardson was left at longish odds....
The Bookie then got a sniff that the Choco leak wasnt correct and cancelled the book on this whole thing a few days ago....
So to be clear they went with the best candidate - but someone (the leaker) used their inside knowledge and leaks to make some cash from the bookies based on this information.
It only needs to be one person .

Having said all that - i think the conspiracy is unlikely.
I believe what was reported.
That Williams really was the front runner.
But when Williams demanded 5 years and didnt seem too keen n the job unless it was all on his terms - the club had a freak out and a Malcolm Blight moment ----
And then decided at the last minute Richardson was a safer bet.

Considering the market was a novelty bet, therefore limited collect. I know we are hard up for $$s, but that's a lot of effort for $500....

And? Wasn't impressed with his efforts in undermining the previous coach and don't wish to read more about the new coach when he assured us someone else was going to be appointed. He is just another poster, not God.saintsrus wrote:Dumb threads like this will stop Jaxons from posting
Poster formerly known as SENsaintsational. More wisdom. More knowledge. Less name.

Your theory is so wrong.
Nearly not worthy of a response, but so stupid I have responded.
You have no idea who Jaxons is, and I can assure you as I have said previously I am not doing anything wrong by the club, or leaking information that is not already confirmed or locked in.
I also have an opinion and I believe that this whole process has been a sham and not fair to some people involved.
I also hope Alan Richardson turns out to be a great coach.
I can promise you one thing, he won't be worse than Watters.

Jaxons, despite the selection process being a sham how would you rate Richo?
