Re: New era begins
I think our young guys, and the new recruits will be pretty pleased. AR sounds a real pro, so I reckon they will enjoy someone like that. Because SW clearly wasn't. (Sadly.....)
And the older guys will be interested to see how he does things.
Onwards and upwards. And yes, as others have pointed out, I like the fact that his name is Alan...if not Allan!

He can't do any worse than his current 0% AFL coaching record.
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

What about when the new coach is appointed, that is a new era starting right there..Con Gorozidis wrote:Yep
Officially new era starts in 10 days .
Any ideas who that will be, Alan Williams, Mark Richardson or someone else.....
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Well i reckon we can wait 5 days for the 3 top 20 draftees before we ring the bell.Wayne42 wrote:What about when the new coach is appointed, that is a new era starting right there..Con Gorozidis wrote:Yep

I think its time the coach club players and fans all moved on from our disappointment of 09/10.
That era is closed.
Let the new one begin !!!

Really? I would have thought Allan would be a better omen, considering the last Allan to coach us got us the holy grail.Verdun66 wrote:And yes, as others have pointed out, I like the fact that his name is Alan...if not Allan!

He'll actually be our fifth Alan or Allan coach, after Allan Davis, Allan Jeans, Alan Killigrew and Allan Hird.Sainternist wrote:Really?
