Id say Williams is preferred but having just been through a large a tender process myself it is surprising what does come up in evaluations and interviews...
We had a preferred candidate at the start and they ended up getting it in the end- but id say sometimes views are changed in the process.
If Williams interviews poorly or someone flags some risks on him - he wont get the job.
If he interviews well - he will get it.
I dont agree with the conspiracy theorists.

Sunday's paper said Choco wanted $600K+ to take on the coaching role at the AFL misfits, i wonder if he gets it.

McPhee and Kingsley would only cost half that, especially in their first year in the job.
