There's some video of him online and an interview I watched a while back. He looks a good prospect. Also has a twin brother that is a player. I'll see if I can find the link.

Sorry about that double post.
Here's the youtube video I saw.
He's an outside mid/defender. Very light frame at 77kgs and 188cm but I guess only young.
He is meant to be a great decision maker. I guess there's the chance he could put on weight and really be something or may always be an outside player.

I researched him earlier thinking maybe at pick 18 or so but didn't think we'd have him in the frame at pick 3.
Maybe our interest is a smokescreen as Gold Coast are meant to be very keen on him. Also the Bulldogs.

Can't see us bypassing a Kelly or Billings for him. Good prospect though. Seems from all the reports he's a definite first rounder. He might slip through to us. It would be nice to think that he, Dunstan, Acres, Hartung and even Garlett might still be available at 18 & 19. if that's the case, Elshaug will be like a kid in a lolly shop.

I've received a tip that Pelchen might still be keen on Garlett. If we take him, we'll do a Gomer Pyle. "Surprise, surprise, surprise!"

Who knows .. maybe there is a bit of the old Luke Ball , Chris Judd, Ashley Sampi mind games happening this year .. just hope we dont base our picks on what other clubs are thinking

I think Pelchen and Elshaugh are happy to have other clubs speculating over who we will take. I just hope we don't go too far away from a conventional talented midfielder with our first pick. If they believe Kade will make a dominant tall mid then so be it - I'll back in Trouts decision.

Yep, that's the most important thing.

I'm not against it because as a highlights package he looks amazing but it was only against NT the footage looked like. He's a monster size and can play as a mid and a backman and has more skills than most. I like him more than a lot of other top 10s. Being a tassie boy I haven't seen much of him though so he's a bit risky.

then hope for Dunston/Dumont/Acres and Hartung/Crouch with the later picks

also maybe someone can help me out here coz im not in the know but i have a mate that has been banging on about Mitch Thorp for ages, reckons he was a tool at Dorks and has gone back to Tas and got his Shiz together, blitzing down there and grown a pair and could be good rookie list? apparently a good size and still young with leadership qualities?
