Looks like Blakey gets a gig on the panel.

herald sun going early again- before my email  and mentioning tomorrow when it's the day after...

good panel for mine

and not surprised about Blakey- can see him being involved in the Club's Admin in some capacity- ala Thompson Burke and Wakelin

Also Tom Harley gets a look in.
Seems we have leant on the Geelong model a bit of late.
I'm guessing prior experience is going to be a target.

Why not get Robert walls on the panel? He was the one who helped us get Ross Lyon.

Also, what about Gary Aryes? I can't see spud coaching again after the horrid treatment the tiger fans gave him.

I reckon Ratts got a rough deal from Carlton. I think he did a reasonable job. I'd prefer Williams over him though. I don't think Ratts ever had much of an opinion of the StKFC

Good to see the Blake stick his hand up, a very intelligent man with lots of footy brain, i also dont mind seeing Harley on the panel, he has some smarts.

A bit perplexed at why Voss is on the short list. Not sure I understand the reasons he was given the chop from Brisbane but I assumed that it was something similar to what occurred with Watters. Knights, Ratten... yep I can see the possibilities there. Hopefully this time around the selection panel will get it right.

I have met Darren Crocker a few times and seems a good bloke and been a very long term assistant and did the hard yards starting under Frawley at Richmond and now at the Roos. He's tall so he wouldn't upset the players although he is bald so we might want to start looking for bald entertainers for mad monday.

Darren is very happy to be a good bloke and long term assistant. I don't believe he has any desire to be the main man.

I think they only get a selection panel so that they can tell the media they are following due Process, chances are they may still select another numpty.

The Process didn't work too well last time did it, they should have done a larger, more probing psych test.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

The article says we are looking at him. So maybe happy to get a free cuppa and look around the Linen house centre.

Get all the applicants to stand side by side.
Ask "who wants the gig- take one step forward!"
All but one will take a step back.
He's our man.

I've got a feeling the panel will be really keen to filter out the ones that aren't good at following instructions and so maybe they might jump at someone with a hearing impairment.

We've heard tall tales about SW being made fun of.
If the club is after more than a short-term solution,
it would be the height of folly to look at anyone below 190cm.
Players need somebody to look up to.
