I do appreciate their money and recognise we can't survive without sponsors.
But let's try and cultivate sponsors with a hint of morality.

Heard Peter Summers talk on Grand Final day saying about new sponsor coming on board then , did not give much away but he indicated at the time they were
very happy with the way things were proceeding at that time.

Think you might be surprised with " New president " seems to be on the ball.

We must push Lindsey Fox to be a major sponsor for this club!!! FFsake

Lindsay Fox net worth: Australian businessman Lindsay Edward Fox has an estimated net worth of $1.9 billion as of March 2013 according to Forbes. He is best recognized as the founder and Chairman of Linfox, a trucking and logistics company owned by his family.

Fox hates the Saints, hence the scheme of arrangements, he won't do anything other than paint the gym..

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Bit Rough W42. My memory of the scheme of arrangement times was that he said if this Club had been a business in the true sense of the word he would have buried it; not try to save it through a scheme of arrangement. Frankly he saved the Club at that time. Financially we were history. Since then he has been the No1 ticket holder for a number of years which to me doesn't indicate he hates the Saints. There was still a family connection through his son Peter being on the Board at one stage although that seemed to end rather abrubtly. Heard rumours why this happened but hoped they were not fact. Anyway I don't think he hates the Saints.

No!
That was Gerry Ryan the owner of Jayco, GreenEdge Cycling, Americain, and just a general great supporter of Australian sport in general.

I said goodbye to Centrebet today with a very satisfying bet on Polanski in the Derby.
Polanski was number 4 which has deep significance for me and was carrying the colours red, black and white, which also have great significance. It was my second bet in three years and I was extremely lucky to win both. Thank you Centrebet and good riddance.

There has been a large realignment (read new owners) of commercial betting agencies operating in this country. As a result the Centrebet sponsorship was on borrowed time. Any suggestions that the cessation of this sponsrship was due to recent events in the Club are just crap.

Fact.. Member of Carltons " dirty dozen for years" not sure if he still is now Bob Pratt is deceased.
Guess he got a fair earner from Linfoxhaving the Visy logistics contract.
