Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, but was in todays 'Tiser.

It was pretty common knowledge that Choco had been interviewed but that looks pretty much like there are already people in place. Milera wants out too shame he didn't get us to trade him.

There was talk at the end of the 2012 season that Milera wanted out, it seems he only wants out once the trade period is over, each year.

Terry is making it sound like the lights are on but there is nobody home

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Agree, he is not that good a player to be doing this after every season, just get rid of him. The only question is how does this affect our list given he is a contracted player

Anyone who doesn't want to play for us should be sent on there way. Now. Get rid of them all. Senior or young.

Is Milera thick or something? Needs to grow some balls

In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Milera has had an unbelievably tough year. I don't blame him for wanting to go home, but hope he doesn't.

Weird that one of the best articles on the whole drama comes from Adelaide,
AND it's from Michelangelo Rucci,
AND there's not an iota of vitriol in it, unlike the reports from a few Melbourne journos.

Don't want to say much as I would think that the media would know but have respected him by not reporting it. Let's just say that footy may have been the last thing on his mind this year.

There's a lot more important things in life than footy. Just let him go I say.
I'd also like to know if we did let him go does that count as a delisted player ?

I rate him as a player any way. Amazing skills.

averaged less than 2 tackles a game this year !
silky skills and class , but defensively he is very poor .

Thanks for the link Sax.

I would be very happy with choco. Always liked him.
To me he has always been a very passionate and driven person. Even in the face of adversity with the Allan Scott you were wrong statement. He was under pressure to show his beliefs were the way to a flag.
He rode that adversity and delivered it with passion.
We face adversity on a daily basis and we could do with a passionate general like choco. He has runs on the board, is supposed to be great with young players. The word is there has been a big change at Richmond since he got there.

This isn't a great time of year to be looking for a coach. I think we're lucky there a few good candidates around.

Excuse me, but I really don't get this.

If you want someone to divulge some seemingly personal info, why do you do them the dis-service of asking them publicly?

Yep

& a very interesting line from the article that has been overlooked so far is:
St Kilda inevitably sacked Watters on Friday after a month of turmoil between the two-year coach and the club's football chief - and possible new chief executive - Chris Pelchen.
That would be interesting! There would be reason to have a bit of fear about how that might work out, but if we've got to hitch our wagon to one horse or another then I guess it may as well be one with a (somewhat) proven record.

Yes in hindsight and in the name of confidence and good manners i could/should have pmed instead.
But requesting a pm (private message) in the public space is a well known and oft used convention.
How is it a dis-service and can you perhaps provide me some guidelines on forum etiquette of which you are obviously well versed?
As far as I can tell I have not placed the requestee under any obligation or exposure in any way shape or form by this prosaic request.
And I have no expectation of a response.

So has Milera actually left the club, or was that some misreporting?

if he leaves he can't go to another club if he's contracted to us, that's what the trade period is for
