I think Williams may be over the line but wouldn't mind Leigh Tudor

In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

It sounds like Pelchen wanted to just install choco but now the Board has taken a step back and will have an open field.

Choco
Richardson
Tudor
Voss

Will all be interviewed

Voss has a very poor record of player management, especially in developing the younger guys - only my way, in everyone's face, I know everything.
A great player and probably a good tactician, but that is where it ends.

Don't know how you could go past Tudor. He's coached in GFs at each of his last three stops. He knows the list and the club a lot better than the other candidates.

Yeah nah pleasing positive

If Choco gets the gig, I'm pretty much done.

I do not know any of these men personally so how anyone can speculate is beyond me.

He certainly has runs on the board as an assistant, but there is more to the job than that. Would the players follow him into battle? Is he tough enough? Does he have the motivational and communication skills necessary for the job? Is he a leader? Is he a good teacher? Can he work in with Pelican?

I don't know him, but if he ticks those boxes he's worth considering for sure.

There are other skills, too, like how he presents to the media, but I put those at the bottom of the list.

In your less than impressive opinion

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned but KEVIN SHEEDY is available isn't he?

As ex-president Peter Summers said:

Sheedy could be good as an advisor type, but not as a senior coach.

Best PR & media man going round.
Bidding would start at over $1 million p.a. but would help increase revenues by a lot more than that.
Suspect Sheedy would carry much the same baggage as GT i.e take over everything.

What scares the living shy..t out of me is that our history of making a good appointment to this position is not good enough. This time we need top class people doing the selection recommendation to the Board. I would go out of my way to get David Parkin in the process. He has the experience, knowledge and INTEGRITY to carry weight in the selection. Apart from his game knoewledge etc our coach selection history and recent events (without directing fault) demands we need to lay our hands on as much integrity in the process as we can get hold of this time and he has it.

All assistant coaches have that clause

Yes I agree. I would be happy if he was chosen.

He seems like a good choice to me. I'm not sure how desperate he would be to come to us though given the way we treat coaches.

Just a question for those wanting Tudor. Has he applied for a senior job before? Do we know that he actually
has a plan ready to go? Are most basing their interest on a hunch? Just remembering Watters was from a winning background as well.

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

Time for Tudor. I cant believe Voss could be in the running. Didn't nearly the entire Brisbane team walk out on the club. Pelchin is going to be the new Grant Thomas. Keep agitating until he gets the job himself.

For example he was just interviewed for the Dons gig. But that was always Thompson's.

Probably prefer Tudor, but given that deep throat has said Williams, I'd be silly to spend much time expecting otherwise. (Can I sit on Pav's interview panel?)

How about we bring in Michelle Jiggling Jeneke in some capacity
http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/newslo ... 6701867377
At least the on-ground warm ups would be interesting.
On a serious note - I was trying my hand at "recruiting" some non-aligned new pommie arrivals to follow the Saints. It was going pretty well until the news of the shambles of Friday broke. Everyone then started on about what a "rabble the Saints are'" " one flag in 140 years" etc. Think they've gone to the dark side......
Coach? Suspect it'll be Choco.
