Why not one for Caro the peoples champ ?

As usual she got it right and as usual people went way over the top in criticising her and calling her names like 'witch' because she is a woman.

yes - she has been accurate with most of her facts. But its the spin and bias she adds to them that makes me resent her.

She may be correct on some of this but much of reporters knowledge is more suspicion, rumpour and them deduction or innuendo.

I don't congratulate her on that asIt drives me mad. However club leadership has a great responsibility to offset this by appropriate releases and controls.

A few years ago, here in Perth, a guy on a surf ski had a big shark take a bite out of the surf ski. The shark turned away for some reason.
The media had a huge laugh because the bloke was a lawyer.
Ppl were saying he was not eaten due to "professional ethics" and "they don't eat their own"

Yes and no.

I was on the city loop train that broke down last Sunday. A channel 9 cameraman wanted to interview me on camera just as I finally got out of Central Station after being stuck on the train for an hour and then walking 500m along the tunnel to safety. The prick couldn't give a stuff that I had 2 kids with me and would've seen we were all in shock. So I refused. The same prick then asked if I had any photos that I could email to him. I said yes I had photos but no I wasn't going to send them to him.

The next day I was contacted by 774 to do a radio interview with Raph, which I agreed to as it was a proper discussion and not ambo chasing sensationalism when people in caught up in the moment need time for themselves.

why would you want to apologise to the media ? Their job is to put stories out there,facts some concocted some with a slant...that's just what they do, I feel sorry for the people who get sucked in by them and not treat the whole thing with a grain of salt and or ambivalence.

I find Caro's (and others) rants quite entertaining at times, I certainly aren't bothered by them. Take what you will from what they put out there and don't let it give you an ulcer.
When everyone was bagging Finey , I must admit I found it quite amusing.

From what I recall she pretty much did stop writing stuff once Duthie admitted she was lying all along. True, she couldn't help but have digs at the culture of our club, but that's an arrogant persons way of saying sorry - but I'll still have a dig where I can.
