i can remember watching john coleman playing against the saints down at the junction oval...copped a wack on the nose and burst into tears.....as he did when he got rubbed out on the eve of a grannie.....reel sook...but a fantastic mark and a great footballer.......geez....now even i feel old.....
..ps....can still see les foote...our captain coach in 1954/55...holding the ball out one handed to the opposition before spinning around 360 degrees and shooting out a hand pass to an unsuspecting and far less talented saints player....only to cry out in frustration when the ball bounced off that players chest...
Holy s$#@ you must have had to look up saintsational on your gramophone.

yep...remember him...came from the ammos.....kicked a couple of goals....tall but slight....
I also remember him stinger....and if I remember correctly (which I have a lot of trouble doing these days!!), he was a pretty fair player, who got struck down by a leg (knee?) injury during a practice match....
Extra! Extra! Read all about it......no I don't want to read about it anymore!!!

Laidley only resigned today.
How did we, without a CEO,
establish he was available
establish he was happy to move across the country to us
establish he was happy with the money
establish he was happy with the facilities down at Seaford
etc.
Amazing work really.
Or maybe, just maybe, the Club knew that Laidley was going and had been working in the background on a replacement.
Surely not though, after all we are a rabble and in disarray.
Caro keeps telling us that so it must be true.
I can't wait for when we're no longer a rabble and in disarray.
Just imagine how good we will be if we can achieve what we have over the past month whilst in disarray.
Media sensation aside - it's my understanding that Laidley's contract was up, and the club was considering offering him a 1 year deal.
I suppose it's possible, and even probable that they decided not to because they wanted someone else instead? And in fact, got that someone else instead.

I reckon we might even get a new CEO and 3 new players shortly?
It's amazing... Money and jobs will attract people?!
What are you even talking about?
Try addressing the post in context, I know it must be hard, but at least try to make sense.
Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Think you are right. The Australian are saying SW appointed Prescott to replace Laidley without consultation. Honestly sounds like he flipped. Absolutely staggering if true. Who did he think he was?!
