Question is will we have more than 2 day games in Melbourne?

Does our club care about lack of day games in melbourne re getting families to games when we are shyte and need
all the support we can get??

i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.

What do you mean more than we expected?

If anything, a majority of our matches will be nights and two lights with not many day matches.

The Hun says our first game will be Saturday night at Etihad against Melbourne.

Please be true!

So bloody sick of the first game being interstate. And unexpectedly losing.

Based on the remaining matches they have already confirm I'm pretty sure this will be the case.

But the perculiar thing is it is (according to the sun) NOT our home game.

That doesn't make sense to me. Surely the hun got that wrong.

Fixture release day is actually better than Christmas!! You don't count down until the minute Santa comes!

WTF I thought the new system meant we played all the other monger teams twice. Oh well bring on our number 1 pick next year.

I guess Collingwood will need two against all of GWS, Melbourne, Bulldogs and GC so the rest of the comp needs to work around it.

Pissed off without even seeing the rest of it. Why Carlton twice!!! They are top six. Why Richmond twice? Why the f*** Gold Coast again? And why not GWS?

Putting a hundred bucks on the spoon for us vwe'll be lucky to win a f****** game now.

Am I right in thinking there's a heavy percentage of Foxtel games ?
Of 21 confirmed rounds, less the bye and Round 23 - I can see 8 games on Channel 7, of which 5 are Etihad home games.
A whopping 13 Foxtel games, of which 5 are home games, and the NZ game is Foxtel.
The question must now be asked: Do I give my money to Murdoch?

Let's face it. Winning is fun; losing is not.

Having said that, these things tend to go in cycles and I'd be much more concerned about what our draws look like when we're challenging again, rather than at a time when we're rebuilding.

Yes, 8 games on Free To Air next season. The usual Monday night v Carlton is on Foxtel next year too, a change from the previous few seasons.

Who cares what teams we play how many times, if we're good enough we'll win. Wishing we play lower sides so we can win a few more games is fools gold.

Only thing that bugs me is all the games on Foxtel....otherwise I really don't care who we play while rebuilding
