I also think the idea of the match is a winner. Interestingly, Nettlefold is being given the credit for it on the AFL website link. And whilst Nicky Winmar's contribution is unforgettable, let's hope Gilbert McAdam gets to share in the concept. I'm pretty sure he was BOG that day.

Yep us and GWS. Strange that they get the two wooden spoon favourites twice. Could just about chalk up four wins there. Looking forward to playing at adelaide oval though. Lovely ground.

Where else would we play adelaide?

I reckon we'll travel a fair bit next year. Haven't got a problem with trips to Perth adelaide Brisbane Hobart overseas. I have two wishes to avoid. No Geelong and no Sydney.

Money wise it will be pretty good because we know well get home games against Carlton AND Collingwood (both prime time too) so hopefully we host two more of Richmond, Geelong, essendon and hawthorn. Would take two extra interstate in a heartbeat to offset that.

Actually if you break it down its quite doable without the need to play any team twice.

Lets make the play twice cushy with two versus Melbourne, bulldogs, adelaide, GWS and Brisbane for instance.

Then we play Collingwood Carlton essendon and Geelong home. Then also Sydney and freo at home.

Away games left are Gold Coast, west coast, port adelaide, north, Richmond and hawthorn.

That's eight interstate or overseas. BUT four massive drawing crowds against big sides.

We won't be too disadvantaged by all the travel. As long as they break it up.

Can anyone think if anything fairer?
