just thought I'd start a thread on the quiet achiever at the st kilda footy club!
Much of the praise goes to pelchin at this time of year, but this guy seems in the thick of things and deserves some credit also
Well done bainesy!!!!

Probably the Pelican's apprentice, but, he's a Saints man through and through so good on him
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Yes, well done to Ameet. Interviews very well and sounds very sincere in his passion for the Saints.

I have been wondering who should get the credit for our great trading. All you hear is Pelchen, but I think there are more than him involved. Baines for one. Well done anyway.

Played about 200 games in the VAFA for Old Melburnians. Very good amateur footballer.
Worked as a lawyer for Toyota for a few years handling sponsorship and employment law matters.
So he's got both the football and legal background, perfect fit for list manager. He's done a terrific job.

Ameet is also President of the Old Melburnians, a very capable young man.
He may have had some influence in getting Dunell to the Club from the OM's a couple of
years ago and would have played some games with Andrew Thompson who came from the OM's.

Yes, "extremely" well done Ameet. A real pro. I get the feeling that he may be the "detail" man, with Pelchen the major strategist. Anyway, it's proving to be a very good team for a change at the Saints!

It may have been before Bains time but McQualter was delisted and redrafted to the rookie list at the end of 2007
