worth its own thread.......we have a glut of 6 foot 2" flankers, and a glut of mediocre small forwards.


If we play Delaney and Bruce as KPP, then the other 4 in order are: Fisher (if he's still got it), Dempster, Roberton and Gwilt - but if we need to go smaller, we put Wright or Geary in Gwilt's spot.

There aren't a lot of options really… Out of Saad, TDL, Milera maybe? Myabe move one or two the rookie list?

I would have retired CJ… but cutting him now would be strange.

Maister offers mature key forward depth which we are pretty light on… He would be handy If Roo missed a large chunk…

Dunell, Siposs, Simpkin I can't see playing many games unless we get a lot of injuries or they lift a long way.

I've got a soft heart, so I'll say I don't care if he's the water boy. I'm pretty sure that he's earn't enough credits to avoid the 'don't come Monday' treatment from the club.

He was pretty handy when we had talls to cover the monster forwards and has bravely carried this rough end of the match-up stick for ages He deserves a break and it would be a hard call to delist him IMO

So a minimum of one more senior player has to be cut, two if we want to draft Jolly and three if we want to upgrade Minchington.

I'd say the players under pressure are Dennis-Lane, Dunell and Saad. Jones and Milera wouldn't be on any other list still but they've both been re-signed this year so they won't be going anywhere. Given that situation, I hope it's TDL and Saad that are delisted; one-dimensional small forwards are a thing of the past and Saad is almost certain to cop the two-year suspension. I'd also cut Ferguson and Shenton from the rookie list.

My end result would be

Savage, Bruce, Delaney, Longer, Jolly, Curren, Pick 3, Pick 18, Pick 19

OUT

terrible comment Con... shocking for a saints supporter. TDL has tried and Dunell could be a decent player.. just don't understand the moron comment... as P66 mentions some guys are an Ectomorph and at certain ages it's extermly hard to gain muscle mass. these guys have made it onto senior lists so some respect yeh?

TDL and Saad due to his clouded future... could we cut Saad and once the suspension is over rookie him to give him a second chance? Hate to see him go out that way...guy did kick a few nice ones...
