So, in a nutshell, pick 18, 19 and Shane Savage for pick 24, 59 and Ben McEvoy?

Win

So I guess we are using 3 picks only in the draft then.
one of 19 or 25 for Longer
41 for Bruce maybe....

Unless you can tell the future how can the trade be called a win for either side?

Nice of hawthorn to get upset they were only getting #19 for Buddy when they were going to swap it anyway.

WTF was that about?

Going into bat for us?

So why ever take any reasoned approach or negotiation when trading?

It's called measuring probabilities and likelihoods.

Win for us - Do we pass on 19 to Longer or hang tough on 25?
Pelchen is determined to use 3 picks under 20 imho.

Hold tough on both I think, it looks dicey, take one of Longer and Bruce in the PSD.

I don't get how collingwood got pick 11 for Thomas on a $2.8 million four-year deal.
and Hawthorn gets pick 19 for a $10 million ten-year deal for Buddy.
Doesn't seem right regardless of who gets the pick

All Hawthorn was doing was airing their greivance at being raped by the free agency system and letting everyone know that the police (AFL HQ) were complicit.

I suppose all the hard put upon Haks supporters can console themselves by watching replays of the 08 and 13 premierships.

Poor darlings.

That's fine, but time is the real test and it is premature to say the least to announce the deal a win for St Kilda.

For everyone here who says it is, there's a Hawthorn supporter probably who disagrees with you.
