The trade between WC and Pies suggest Sydney wanted 31, the Pies were offering 49 and they met somewhere in between with pick 44 from WC.

Jesse White is a fair player. Big upgrade on the q stick for pies.

Thankfully we dodged a bullet on Mitch Brown which enabled us to get Spencer White.

We definitely dont need him if we end up with Delaney and Bruce.

I can tell you for a fact that Rhys does NOT want to "Go Home" to SA. He has bought a house and been renovating it over the last 12 months or so. His original "Home" town is Berri in S.A. He only spent his draft year in Adelaide. He prefers Melbourne. His girlfriend is a VIC girl also. So I can tell you that you can rule out the Go Home factor.

Also in this draft the difference from pick 14 to pick 19, talent wise is going to be a very similar player.

I agree we dodged a bullet with Brown. Let's just hope we didn't get shot in the back with a double barrelled shotgun this year with Delaney and Bruce.

Lets hope Spencer kicks on this year and can play at a consistently higher level. If he can crack a few senior games next season, that will bode well. Has the potential to really get the turnstiles spinning.

I think he will go to Sideshow Knob instead -when he starts his bitchy slapping Delaney can do what he did to johnno Brown. He has a touch of the mongrel- well when you touch his brother anyway.

Port Adelaide said they never even asked about him and that it was just lazy journos thinking anyone from SA was on their radar. I'm still thinking he could be a star in the future.

I definitely read an article about a week ago which was an interview with the Port recruiting guy. He was quoted as saying they asked about Rhys before the McEvoy trade and were told NO. Hour then said when McEvoy left they thought maybe they would ask again, but the Saints still said NO. I will try find a link. Was an SA paper website I think....
