Delaney
The Pelican shouldn't pay anymore than our pick 41 for that GOP Delaney, he's only played 26 games since 2011.
Only a team bereft of tall defenders would even look at him.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Re: Delaney
I think his rating at the moment in this draft would be 50-65
we currently have pick 59 (4th round)
we currently have pick 59 (4th round)

Re: Delaney
I doubt he will come to us for free, it will cost us something.plugger66 wrote:He will obviously come for nothing niow. Part of the deal with Dal.
Dal on the other hand, we gave him to North for free, they told us to be grateful we would be compensated by the free agency rules and we said ok, he's yours.

When I say free we will give a pick we wont use like our fourth round. It will cost us nothing. It will be part of the deal.

Re: Delaney
I think that we were prepared to let Dal go to Nth via free agency, will play in our favour when dealing with Delany. A guess would be that was part of te conversation. Or you would at least hope so!
Re: Delaney
All great to get Delany but i rate Bruce a far better player
And i thought this was a forum

If Raph was taller bigger and a full back. Watch his debut highlights Raph couldn't push J Brown under the ball and out muscle him.

Re: Delaney
Clearly Delaney will be at St Kilda.
He will therefore be a St Kilda player.
A St Kilda player who is more suited to the Full Back role than any other player on our list. A role we couldn't fill last year.
He may be no good. He may be adequate. He may pleasantly surprise. Who the hell knows?
But why are so many "supporters" so quick to predict the worst; some almost appearing to hope the guy actually is a spud.
We're talking about a guy who hasn't yet played a game for the club he hopes to build a career at. OUR club.
Give the bloke a break

Re: Delaney
They did it with Roberton too last year. I'm pretty sure most of the people that wanted Dal gone half way through the season because of poor form are now the most devastated. Pretty much fans are by nature illogical and as soon as the new guys show some form they are on them - well unless they have second year blues like Milera and Saad.Dr Spaceman wrote:Clearly Delaney will be at St Kilda.

I'm excited by having a full back. He will be an upgrade on Beau Wilkes who was our potential FB last year. If we get Bruce as well we have a FB and CHB.
