It's not about winning Joffaboy, it's about getting the best deal for Saints. Do you really think there is much of a difference between pick 22 and 26?joffaboy wrote:Unless we get #22 we dont win.Verdun66 wrote:We win either way......jimmy_slats wrote:2pm and atleast we will know if if we get something (via trade or stay at the club) or nothing (free agency) personally hope he stays
If it is anything less we should keep Dal.
Next year he is an unrestricted FA and if he goes (he still may contract to the Saints who knows?) and we get a Band 3, well we got an extra season out of him for no loss of a draft pick place.
I would really like to keep Dal. Dont let those smarmy arses from North get him for nothing.
We gave 2 top picks for Barry Brooks yet for Montagna we used a pick in the 30's if my memory serves me correct.

"The Saints will be given a compensation pick for losing Dal Santo – most likely a pick after their second round selection."
Gee, we played hard ball there.

more evidence of our "very aggresive" approach to this years trading period? Hard to be aggresive when you are bending over

Yeah it sounds pretty piss weak to me, I hope there is more to the deal than just that.perfectionist wrote:"The Saints will be given a compensation pick for losing Dal Santo – most likely a pick after their second round selection."

collingwood get 11 for Daisy and we get 22 for Dal, a two time top three finisher in the Brownlow. Seems fair! Not.

Re: I think Dal To North via Free Agency
NDS is near the end of his career and is not going to contribute to our future finals campaigns, so best to move on and grab a player or two who can go forward with us.
Re: I think Dal To North via Free Agency
Really dissapointed if this is the case
Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Re: I think Dal To North via Free Agency
I would guess North will now either delist Delaney or take a pick that we certainly wont use. Then both players get to the clubs without cost to either club.

St Kilda had their hands tied. Forget about being sentimental. In this day and age HTFU
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.
