Wait and see but doesn't make any sense
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Nah. Pick 10 to 15 and maybe we would look at it.

Re: Fox Sports News reporting Joey to Essendon
I would never want to trade with them, just refuse to do it. Infraction notices hanging over their heads that will be issued in November. Watch this space!
Then they want more than 22 for Crameri who may not even be worth that! They overate all of their spuds on that list and I wouldn't go near that club with a ten foot pole!

When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss

Here, here! That would be the worst trade of all time! The Redeemer wrote:It is a good thing you are not running the show because that is an awful deal.Batnoe wrote:Hopefully for Myers.. Pick 37 and Joey for Myers?
Pick 37 is a third rounder, Myers has shown glimpses of becoming a good player for 1 season.
So no

Re: Fox Sports News reporting Joey to Essendon
I say Stay away from Essendon with those infraction notices hanging over their heads. Let's not forget the Lovett deal (where he came with supporting references from Hird and others). We need some experience to help our kids learn and I could not think of a better 2 than Lenny and Joey teaching them in the midfield.

Re: Fox Sports News reporting Joey to Essendon
Fox sports still reporting it today, basically saying its confirmation of a mass exodus of players citing McEvoy and dal as well. They seem to get that McEvoy was traded, dal has not gone anywhere yet and Joey is actually still contracted to us.. But why would they let those facts get in the way of a good story
I love this club
Re: Fox Sports News reporting Joey to Essendon
If he goes then pelchan would have to go as well. it isnt going to happen. The media report rumours all the time. 5% come true.

I shot down the McEvoy trade thread as a joke... So I won't go too hard here, hope it's no true though.
There's only a few players I would want from Essendon... and there is no way they would be traded.
Myers just hasn't shown enough... could well turn out a spud.

However both Bains and the Pelican have both stated as late as Friday Joey would not be traded. Never said such about Mac.dragit wrote:I shot down the McEvoy trade thread as a joke... So I won't go too hard here, hope it's no true though.

As P66 said Pelican and probably Bains would have to go as well for outright lying to the fan base. I think Pelican even mentioned Joey in his email.
Sounds like Fox Sport are using SEN's reliable sources
I prefer jaxons info personally
Lance or James??

Don't trade with the bummers as we all know that some of their players will be out for up to two years.Batnoe wrote:Hopefully for Myers.. Pick 37 and Joey for Myers?
However, if we could get Myers, David Jones and their ambassadors Jennifer Hawkins AND Miranda Kerr then I'm all for it.
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

Re: Fox Sports News reporting Joey to Essendon
And you reckon that SEN didnt run with it. Dont know who the knob is late at night shane someone???? Completely sinks the boots in. "Rats deserting the sinking ship". Anyway Ivy rang him and got stuck into him, but that was pretty lame as well.
Would the club really send out an email then the next day go against that.
I guess people see that getting rid of McEvoy was just another player leaving the cess pool that is StKilda. Not that it was quite a cunning move. Not that is was part of a plan to get 3 first round picks. Not that Pelchan identified what other clubs needed and saw how that can work for us.
I must admit, everyone taking pot shots at my club does annoy me. Its like, hey its only StKilda give it your best shot, say what you like.
This other knob on SEN last night stated that "we actually know whats going on but we cant say", must have that terrific source M. Fine.
I only listen to SEN at night, to help me fall asleep cos they are so boring, but now they piss me off so much that my insomnia has got worse

They can't say because they have to keep the whole thing going...can't stop now....or maybe they're just trying to be discreet..

Re: Fox Sports News reporting Joey to Essendon
At a push you could accept Monty to Ess, Crameri to Dogs, Dogs give us their first round pick and some other picks exchanged but then don't think Dogs willing to give up first rounder for Crameri.

You would have to question the sanity of the dogs recruiting staff to give up pick 4 for Crameri and then Essendon's for giving pick 4 for Joey but you would be very impressed by the Saints.
Re: Fox Sports News reporting Joey to Essendon
If this deal was to be done it would have to be a 3-way deal with another club.
Do not rate David Myers and don't want him. Would rather draft picks..
