What happened to question time

Post: # 1402175Post DWOODROW »

Wasn't there a Internet question time with owl hen today at 11?

Or have I got my times mixed up?

If not any news

Like this answer a great deal -
2:42 Chris Pelchen: Hi Ben, we understand the challenges ahead of us but I assure you that the work being done is representative of similar models established during my time at Port Adelaide and Hawthorn With the help of a strong administration both models achieved premiership success and we are building to exactly the same formula here at St Kilda.

Comment From S. Watters:
Will Scott Watters coach in 2014?

Chris Pelchen:
Scott is contracted for 2014 and will lead us into next season.

Not sure about anyone else - but im feeling stacks better after that Pelchen Q and A.

The bloke is genuinely trying to get us a flag in the next 5 years.

If he gets us 3 top 20 draft picks + Delaney + Bruce he has done the job of a true magician.

Cant believe some people are moping.

I'm very impressed with the Pelican as well, but to be fair, he will have got us two first round picks, we actually already had one of our own (pick 3).

I'm getting a feeling that the club is probably taking the most professional approach to recruiting that I have seen in all my years of supporting. There seems to be a real purpose and long term view towards success.. something unheard of at St Kilda. I'm looking forward to the next few years.

Excellent chat. Members letter was fantastic also. Well done! Club is in good hands, despite the hysterics about us in the media.

Might ring up the grapevine radio station (SEN) and start a few rumours about opposition clubs. Seems they don't require fact to run stories if the reporting from the past 2 weeks is anything to go by.....

+ 1
Pelchen + 2011/2012 Elshaugh has proven he can use the draft well.

A zillion miles improved from where we were/what were doing 3-5 years ago.

Disagree. Back in 2000-02 we strategically built a list through some great trades and drafts to mimick the successful at the time Brisbane model. Similar concept this time.

SW will coach Round One for sure. After that, it's week by week.

According to p66 - Chris P has lied and totally made up the story he told about his conversation with Alan Jeans and his request to 'look after is Saints'.

Big call from p66.
