So you don't want Riewoldt captain?

Been on this for a while...
No.

I don't get why everyone says we have no natural leaders, so the best course of action is to wait until Nick is gone?

That makes no sense.

Sydney's model much better even, we should also throw someone in while Roo is there to mentor.

Nick grew into the role.

Someone else's turn.

Give me a reason why we shouldn't throw someone in while Len and Nick are around to catch them if they fall?

How did Choco get on with Pelchen in their Port days? Does anyone know? This could be a factor.

Why all the hate on Watters?

I reckon he's a good coach.

He doesn't crack the sad's in the coaches box ever unlike most of them (esp the Scott cry baby brothers).
Everything he says is controlled, realistic.
He's playing the kids which is what we want.
He's playing a better brand of football rather than the boring flood of RL.

If we loose Scott, I will spit it.

Keep Dal, grab Bruce, get Delaney through the PSD.

BLOODY JEZZA, BLOODY JEWELL! The first was the reigning premiership coach, replaced by one who had just got the sack a year after winning his flag.

Both are proof that anybody (nearly) can coach of you have the cattle. Players have always made coaches, it is rarely the other way around.

Ask any player of the era to compare the coaching of Jezza to that of the man he replaced, the luckless Mike Patterson. Responses would be interesting.

I think Choco in a support/over seeing role to help a new coach in Watters would be ideal and what he's do e at Richmond. It's what Pies did with Eade and Cats some time ago via Balme

IMHO Choco has tasted success he is the ideal replacement and I would have NO hesitation moving Laidley on (everything he's touched has turned to shyte).

Apparently that is the trouble Teflon! The club after the review want to move on Laidley, when Watters in an act of blind loyalty has indicated if Laidley goes then he will walk also... hence where Choco Williams comes into the equation.

SW must be crazy if he has really said that.
Assistants come and go all the time. Always churn.
Surely he didn't expect they were joined at the hip forever.
I think turnover of assistants can be a good thing.
Its good hes loyal to his mate but its not realistic.

Don't get me wrong I prefer we keep Scott but I am a little disturbed about his mates rates appointments

I understand he wants security - I'd go as far as offering an extension to the end of 2015 right now on1 proviso - Laidley goes and Choco in.....

I also think the club ought to have gone hard for Tudor...

Plugger can you give us any insight ?
In another post you intimated that the jyd was liked by the players ?

If we get choco as an assistant and a new fitness guy I wont be unhappy.
I also fee we need someone fresh from the game.
Joel Corey would be good.

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)
