I think perhaps Pelchen is posturing to trade Dal, and pick 17 for Delaney and picks 8 & 26. North have already offered 26 and Delaney for Dal... throwing in the 8 for 17 means North lose nothing as they can still use 17 for Luke McDonald and the Saints get a pretty fair deal for Dal.

North have already used pick 8 for Mcdonald (Father/Son) just not and option.

North have committed their first round pick, not specifically 8. It is quite within the rules for them to trade 8 for a later first rounder and use it for McDonald.

for the upcoming NAB AFL Draft.
At a meeting held prior to the Trade Period each
other Club in the competition then has the option

Pretty sure that 'next available' would have to mean said club's 'next available' pick... at the time that meeting was held.

Otherwise that would really be open to abuse.

Con you really are weird. 4 threads you have mentioned this on now. Why would anyone care what a poster said about someone on here. There is one reason you have mentioned it and its to discredit me. Im pretty sure I can discredit myself. Thanks for help. Its amuzing and it all comes from your lack of ability to explain the reason why older players played this year but wont next. Rubbish there is a closing date for father/son settlements which has long passed, and it purposefully precedes the trading period so this can't happen otherwise it would be an unworkable farce
