We should be angling to get one player via the PSD, as it is one of the "perks" of finishing low.
If you cannot engineer a good PSD pick up then you are wasting part of te value.
I think less and less players are going in the PSD now though as the club gets a bit of a reputation as a non trader. having said that a player like Delaney only belongs in the PSD IMO.
They will with draft picks 1 & 2 pick midfielders & must keep Dal
You have no fisher , no Gwilt , no Dempster shortly you have to have 3 talls in backline because all sides are going to rest a tall because of AFL bench changes next year.
Must cut TDL & rookie list Saad.
i agree on the three talls next year and Rodda would be a good get. I think we will try to get some mids from somewhere as well as our top 3 pick. Maybe Weller?

Gringo you always want many players. At the moment we have around 3 picks. Can you explain how we get all theses players plus mids or do you only want our pick 3 used on a mid?
'Greater Western Sydney has asked for pick 21 for defender Josh Bruce, a former zone player who is out of contract after playing 14 games in two years. Sam Fisher has been linked with the Giants, but their current priority is Collingwood defender Heath Shaw."
gws would have to be joking...we can get him for nothing in the pre
-season draft....
Unfortunately GWS and NM are going to try it on because of the perception we rolled over easily for more valuable picks last year (picks 12 & 13). This year we should have the upper hand in both deals so I will expect to hold 21 unless its a very good deal as there is a strong possibility there will still be a good mid available at 21. Offering 2 x 2nd round picks for WCE Brown smacked of desperation - partly because I think because the footy dept thought we could still make the 8.
Now that we are clearly rebuilding, I will expect a more measured approach.
I expect to get one of Delaney or Bruce (either via trade or PSD), and I expect us to still retain picks 3 & 21. I also don't expect to lose Dal for Delaney in a straight swap.
I would prefer we get nothing and hold our picks and players than do a dud deal.

that would be delisting some more which i have suggested and Rodda would be a rookie as said above. I actually saw the youtube clip of Delaney's debut and thought he actually looked pretty good and seemed a bit pacier than Brown from WCE. I think you will find we will still lose some players before the final list lodgement.

Your last line is what worries me, I get the feeling we will do anything for a defender and I worry thAt we will loose Dal for Delaney as a straight swap.

If its for pick 21 I'll poop my pants.
Knowing Pelchen its probably 21 for Bruce + 38.
Dunno how Ill feel about that. Im hoping its 40+ Fisher for Bruce.

Maybe put a nappy on I reckon… judging by last year you are going to need a bath tomorrow.
As I tipped on Sept 11th.. Norf have formally tabled Delaney and pick 27 for Dal
Hope we can do better tell them to trade somewhere for a better draft pick or throw in his younger brother....
And the president said " I did not have sex with that woman"
And our former president said " Football is like golf"
HS reporting that Nth have offered Delaney and Pick 26 for Dal. what a joke, i dont rate delaney at all, so in essence we would be getting a very average not so tall defender and losing a player that is still in our best 5 players. If we agree to this I will be pissed
Isn't it a possibility that the AFL could ream us pick-wise as a punishment for pushing him out? It would be pretty clear we felt free agency was better for us than trade, but that's not what the compensation was brought in for.
