I would have the Tomas Bugg at the Saints for sure, nice LF. Like Josh Bruce, one of the better rumours.
Not really keen on losing Fisher though.

He isnt a gun at all. he is another player who hasnt made it yet. At least he is younger than some of the other hacks that get mentioned with our club.

i can guarantee you haven't seen him play much then. He's an exceptional talent he gets lots of the ball can use it well and played his first year as a running defender and was way ahead of most of the higher rated kids they drafted. Toby Greene and Bugg seem to have ben given less time in favoured positions this year for some reason but his potential is enormous.

It is a good time to get him because last year he would have got a first round pick due to his huge out put. he is way better than Bruce.

I can guarantee i have seen him play a bit for GWS and even as a junior because he he best mates with Seb Gotch who is a family friend. As for being better than Bruce, well one is a FB and the other plays on smallin the BP. hardly comparable at all. By the way he is a good liar to . Spoke to him after the GF and never mentioned he wanted to come hime. At the moment he is no gun.

Just heard the astute gws trading trading trust are prepared to shelve out a massive cash injection for H. Shaw. I heard way over $600 -700,000/ year. That sounds like an opportunity to make a play for some 'potentially' top young recruits that they can't hold on to.

With Dal Santo & Delaney there is one of those two who you know what you are getting and what he is capable of - it is not Delaney. Obviously North is asking St.Kilda to give up much much more for a virtually unknown and likely 4th. rd. pick.

According to a source a poster on BF we are interested in Bugg being included in the Bruce trade.

Fisher & DP21 for Bruce & Bugg

There is going to be some good midfield talent around at pick 21. I hope we hold onto the pick

Given GWS want players not draft picks - Would anyone do Fisher + Macca for Bruce and Bugg?
I would.

Think if we had Bruce + Bugg + #3 +#21 plus our current crop of 20-22yos.
Wed be back in the game.

I dont think that will happen ... McEvoy has value to us we have put a lot of time and effort into getting him to the player he is now in my oipinion it would be a massive mistake to trade him now that he is starting to hit the expectations of a ruckman ... also GWS just got Mumford i doubt McEvoy would be high on their radar ... im all for trading Fisher but McEvoy is in the right age group for us now i wouldnt be trading anyone in the 22 to 26 age group the over 30's yeah

Yep wont happen. You are right.
Im just trying to think of a way to get Bugg (without giving up 3 or 21)
I doubt GWS would want 21. They have had so many high draft picks they would raise their nose at 21.

don't need to. Pick 20 will get them something in another club deal.

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency
