I don't understand why we would be in any rush to extend the contract of a second year coach who has a year left on his contract.
Seemingly Paul Roos' appointment at Melbourne has made us the focus of the press and their basket case stories.
Some of the hyperbole directed our way includes....
We have just started a review into our entire football department yet a hack journalist is leading jungle drums for Watters' sacking or extension.
The club after refusing to defuse a littany of trade rumours, catagorically states Riewoldt will not be traded under any circumstances, yet front page of the herald sun is Riewoldt in a Collingwood jumper.
After months of suggesting the club will need to trade players to gain access to the draft, the press now after wildly speculating the trade of anybody at all involved at St Kilda, suggests that this means we are in dissaray.
Sydney mortgage the farm and hitch themselves to the Buddy train and we get reports that this means St Kilda will never win another flag.
It 5hit5 me to tears!!!!
Is there any danger of some level and balanced reporting??
Yep we are in for a few bad seasons, but just blindly sacking or hiring people isn't going to solve this.
Cool and calm heads are required to make the right decisions as we make our long climb back.
Life is very short and there's no time for fussing and fighting my friends.
