If you want to barrack tomorrow...
Barrack for a draw.
Puts both teams behind a week next year, takes a bit more out of them, probably unsettles their trade week focuses, and preseasons in general.
Also means we get footy for another week.
It's what all neutral supporters should cheer for IMO.
Go saints!

no draw- I'd like for our team of the past decade to have at least one semi positive factor from their ten years- ....

Re: If you want to barrack tomorrow...
Brilliant, a draw would be SO good. Can you imagine the carry on. AND finally the AFL "may" get an idea what it puts interstate people through. Go the draw

I'll have to watch it in L.A. and I'm booked to go to Musso and Franks that night.
Hawks win, Buddy goes to GWS, Lyon leaves with his tail between his legs, that's a good result.

I want Freo to win, but Lyon to lose. Not quite sure how we can manage that though...

Re: If you want to barrack tomorrow...
Little interest, personally. The money interest exemplified by the right wing heartland at E'dope has left me with no interest other than my own footy club.
If I choose to watch tomorrow....today....I'll only do so because there a bloke playing who I regard as 1 of the few non-Saints I enjoy watching because he is a prime example of a pure footballer and seemingly has a decent attitude to the game as a sport.
Plus, I reckon he's the key to the whole game. He's the only bloke who Hawthorn have with the footy smarts and decision making ability to break Freo down.
He's 1 of only 2 in the comp who I so regard. Luke Hodge.
The other is Jimmy Bartel. Apart from his finals performances, it was his diversion from his team mates on the siren in '09, when he turned and went to the slumped Sir Leonard Hayes that stamped Bartel as an honourable, and slightly eccentric, combatant. Happened right in front of us, and I still dips me lid.
But, there's only the 2.

If you'd ever flown half way across the world for a weekend with no result, you wouldn't wish a draw on any supporter.

I think if it is a draw it will be the last time we have a rematch the next week. Makes it way too hard for Freo to back up

I'm with you a TOT , so over this season Tippett, Melbourne tanking, and of course Essendope with sycophant employees of the media still fawning over Jobe Watson as if he will get through this without a black mark against his name. The OtherThommo wrote:Little interest, personally. Everyone of those issues is just plain wrong in a world of right and wrong. Wrong for ethical and moral reasons and it says a lot about the world and the AFL. Sometimes I feel like I'm part of a small group of people who struggle to raise what is right and what is wrong with our values and judgement. Are we so wrong in any of thus?
Sorry to be so reflective but you go back to 09 & q10 to see what has happened in between and it makes me question football.
