Messages for Robert Walls, to be printed & shoved.

Post: # 1394627Post Austinnn »

Oh happy day! That festering cabbage Robert Walls has finally written his last column for The Age, possibly because they insisted that he use a computer instead of crayons.

Any messages for him before they ship him off to the nursing home? That he ever achieved anything of note in this sport shows just how far the game has come.

Yes. he was on the selection panel in 06 and advocated for the selection of Rosco. Also screwed us by acting as his media mouthpiece throughout 2011.

Robert Walls had a conflict of interest.

Ross Lyon, has taken his teams to four gf's in 7 years. A gr....sorry, sorry...a good coach.

Say what you like about him, but he was brilliant at Fitzroy as a coach. Was the first coach ever to devise tactics at kick outs. I recall numerous times in 1981 Fitzroy going coast to coast because they had an entire wing of the ground isolated with one single player. Can be a knob and state the obvious in the media, but I think he's just a very hard man all round, which gets ppl off side.

I hold no grudge against Mr. Walls. He has his views, and I don't always agree with them.

Both as a footballer and a coach.

Bit of a weather vain, but cant understand all this small minded hate tossed about by some.

Really a bit of perspective would be welcome.

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

I actually quite like him.
He has an opinion on things.
While I don't necessarily agree with him at least he has the guts to state his opinion unlike the majority of media commentators.
Most people in the media straddle the fence so much they must struggle to walk normally.
