Two Crows in the hand???
Just chatting with an SA friend who said a whisper over there is that Jaensch & Brodie Martin may be heading our way. So two more to add to your list Joffa.
Obviously I can't verify the credibility of the rumour. I've no idea how the club would get them or to be frank, why we would need them. Possibly for depth but depth is really only relevant, IMO, if we are to challenge for finals.
Having said that, both would be better than TDL & Milera, IMO.

Re: Two Crows in the hand???
Like most of the other players mentioned as possible trades, I know nothing about these guys, so I looked them up.
Matthew Jaensch (Sturt)
pick 97 in 2010
24 years old
180 cm / 83 kg
45 games
this year averaged 12.7 touches a game, 4.3 marks, 2.4 tackles
Brodie Martin (Sturt)
pick 74 in 2009
25 years old
180cm / 83 kg
18 games
this year averaged 9.0 touches a game, 4.0 marks, 1.0 tackles
Not much impressive from the stats. Anyone know a bit more about them? They look pretty similar, presumably running defenders but not quite midfielders? If so I can't see much exciting there, but I wouldn't have picked up Roberton last year so there you go.

Fair dinkum, the way these "names" are being thrown up and bandied around you'd think the AFl had cancelled the National
Draft

We are always getting every player available at this time of the year, probably because we have no idea who we will actually get.Dr Spaceman wrote:Fair dinkum, the way these "names" are being thrown up and bandied around you'd think the AFl had cancelled the National

If they all get mentioned then someone can say, post the free agency /trade / draft period, that they nominated us getting player x correctly.
How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?

He would be and the club tried to get him. Mad Saints family and like I have always said that means stuff all. Signed again with the crows.
