Re: Finey on SEN
Yeah great. At a time we need some stability, so that we can entice some decent players we get this crap. For gods sake, are we Brisbane. Lets just sack the coach and
have no one else. Lets just set ourselves up for more ridicule.

St kilda need to sack Scott Watters.
That He didn't like what he said at the B&F that Saints accept mediocrity. Really hated that statement. Said he showed a complete disregard for Ross Lyon and all the players that played in that Era.
That he was doing things away from what the club would prefer such as the club going after Dustin Martin and that Scott Watters didn't want him..
He sounded extremely confident about all these claims.
Even started the rant saying he hates talking about the saints in this light that he was stewing over it for days and he checked his line of communication before he said what he said.

Re: Finey on SEN
Watters has lost most of the players at the club.
There is a disconnect between him and the football dept.
These were Finey's words.
If anybody knows some players at the club and they talk intimately about the coach, I think you will find these comments to be 100% accurate.
I doubt Watters will be getting an extension anytime soon.
You can take that to the bank!

I must of missed that part of the speech, not saying he didn't say it, but thought Scott spoke well.

I know Finey personally (not well in the sense of a mate, but we have mutual friends. He is a passionate and loyal Saints man, he does get some inside info and he's no dill.

I don't understand either. As an 18 year old, I would like to know why my opinion is more important than anyone else's.The Fireman wrote:I don't get itSainterK wrote:If the next gen doesn't like him, we're in trouble...The Fireman wrote: ??????????????

I didn't think I was being that deep.
Not so fussed what roo, schneids etc think of him.
Care more about what Steven, Geary, Armo, Newnes etc think of him...if he inspires them.

Ok why wouldn't you be more interested in what the vets have to say about the coach? Common sense would dictate you should.

But if you're waiting to find out what EVERYONE under 25 thinks of him, it's going to be a long night.

Re: Finey on SEN
is that all you got out of that? seriously the more I hear from you the more I am amazed of how little you know of what is going on yet you still post on here.whiskers3614 wrote:So Watters disrespected Lyon, that was his great sin?
Watters had denigrated not only Lyons efforts but the whole club. Mate ..sorry but you are dense.

Re: Finey on SEN
Well I'm over 25 and I can't stand him - I think he is a complete fraud who the got the job on false pretences of his sales pitch! But as time has passed people are starting to see through his salesman facade and see hIm for the incompetent fool he truly is !
Go Finey !
Go Finey !

Re: Finey on SEN
Sounds like he knows more but not giving it all away. Should have gone whole hog then.

The veterans were fed with silver spoons and tucked in at night by Ross.
That era is now over, some will find that concept harder to grasp than others, some players were always going to be offended IMO.
The younger guys on the other hand were estranged, wanting to leave, discontent.
So I'd like to know what they think now.
I'm not sold on SW yet, but not convinced the body of evidence is quite there yet?
Just feel like we've swung as a form from bagging coaches for not loving the kids enough, to now whacking them for not loving the veterans enough
