Jared Polec

Jared Polec is rumoured to want to go back home... this kid can seriously kick a football and has the potential to be elite imo...

He is a big midfielder with an elite kick... Had an ordinary year, but that could be due to homesickness etc. I find this a win as we won't have to pay overs.. He was pick 5 in 2010 Draft.

i sincerely hope we chase him. What are your thoughts on him?

I wouldn't get over excited about Patrick Karnezis. I have seen a fair bit of him this season with Lions and ressies.

Am no expert but IMO he'll end up no better than a decent AFL footballer.

As one of the other posters commented. Best get a regular game before you start demanding where you want to play.

There is merit in trading in players, particularly young ones. Someone like Bruce has exposed form and 3 years of development, compared with a junior defender with no experience against men. It fast tracks our spine. Talk is this years draft is weak in regard to young tall backs.

Remember getting Penny, Guerra and Gram as young players. Think it has merit

Sydney got Ted Richards because he wasn't getting opportunities at Essendon. Sydney got Josh Kennedy, WCE got Josh Kennedy, Carlton got Henderson all were not yet established at their first club.

It does but so far we are getting about 12 players from other clubs but we only want to delist 3. happy to get one young kid or maybe 2 maximum but the draft is usually where you get the stars and also the duds. We are going down the ladder. We need some stars. In other words grab Bruce but forget Delaney. Forget Polec, he wants to go home.

I thought when the "don't recruit any recycled" brigade saw Kobe Stevens get 31 possies and kick 3 goals on us that maybe they would have admitted that checking out the players from other clubs who are not getting a run might be a good idea. we should use our top 4 pick on the best junior we can get and probably our second rounder but not if someone looks better at a more mature age.

What idiot would ever say dont recruit recycled players. must be a friggin idiot. The problem is there are people who say at least 50 players would be good. Footy clubs cant pick 50 players.

If he is only an Average footballer then I think he should definitely go to BUCKLEY's Collingwood
