Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

What moron would ever say that. Love you to show us a post of that idiot. Jack is a star who showed a heap in the VFL. Those players can usually be picked. Some let you down and some dont.

Thought it was a good time to bump this pearler of a thread. If the club's worst ever player wins the B&F we really are in trouble.

Just to re-cap…
perfectionist wrote:He will never improve. He is not fast enough to run away from (decent) opponents, he is not tall enough to take any sort of mark overhead and he lacks foot skills, not being able to even kick forty metres. I've seen it all before. The only way to success to get rid of poor kicks and try new players. If they aren't good enough then they have to be churned as well. Otherwise, you can resign yourself to never seeing the team win a flag, and settle for making excuses for dud players.

Re: I was wrong about Jack Steven
Jack obviously visits this site and has responded well to the criticism he has received from the few among us who steadfastly refuse to accept or embrace mediocrity, for which we should be grateful.

Re: I was wrong about Jack Steven
I distinctly recall before the season started that other players and the media reports (AFL.com) were all saying Jack had a huge pre-season.
Jan 21, 2013 - Jack Steven has been one of St Kilda's most impressive performers in ... One standout of pre-season training so far has been midfielder Jack
I just think this is terrific. I know everyone on here is obsessed with the idea of the older players teaching the younger players how things are done. Sure thats good but to me the really pleasing thing and the thing that will really get into people like Siposs' head is seeing their own peers like Jack and Tom Curren get reward for effort.
Its all well and good to look at the older blokes but the young guys can easily dismiss that and think oh theyre a champion. But when they see - right in their face - blokes who were at their own level - work their asses off and reach a new level then that is the real wake up call. Its that current batch of leader that will determine whether we get better or not.
So well done to Jack (and TC)

Why won't perfectionist just come out and admit he was wrong? I don't understand??
