On behalf of most Saints fans, a big thanks and relief that the Hawks beat those Swines.

Good to see that corruption in getting Tippett and the bonus $1M salary cap shouldn't work this year.

Let's hope that if they play the Tigers next week at least the Tigers give them a run for their money.

Sigh, there goes my plan of deliberately not finding out who wins any of the finals, lol. I knew someone on here would mention something and I knew it was a risk to come on site.

Guess I can't help myself and it over rides my common sense! Ok, I vow not to come back on site for the rest of the weekend so I can avoid seeing any results! It's easy to leave the TV off and the radio but more of a challenge not checking out what the SS crew are up to.

Marketing incentives.
Favourable fixturing.
Favourable draft/zone benefits.
Here's an extra $1m for youir salary cap.
Favourable tribunal decisions.
Favourable umpiring.
Favourable disposition from the AFL.
They get looked after.
AFL are desperate for them to succeed.
Look at last year when the AFL shafted Hawthorn in the Prelim - made them play Sat night despite being the top team.
Imagine if we had played 19 men for 5 mins against North - would we have retained the 4 points?
AFL led the conspiracy to poach Lockett to Sydney.

The ONLY circumstances where I could possibly enjoy a Shytney win would be if they played Caaaarlton.

Still dirty on Swans (Barry Hall let off), but my hubby goes for them so its tough. Hate Hawk supporters they are the worse I have encountered lately. Good on Port on winning tonite. Was happy Freo won against cats, but couldn't stand it if they win a flag, only because we didn't. Hope tigers win tomorrow. But as for winning gf, if its not us, then no one (but someone has to). Poor wallabies can't win a game, but they should beat the pumas next week (hopefully).

I hate Sydney too. They pretend to be 'The Bloods" and include South Melbourne's flags with their's when it is now a completely different club! Carlton supporters are the worst that I have come across. I know some filth and scum supporters and I have to say that mostly the filth supporters are pretty good, the scum supporters however are mostly arrogant twats with only a couple being pretty good. I guess that is the humbling effect of failure in the case of the filth and the ego-inflating impact of sustained success in the case of the scum. This is in my experience only of course.
